Immediately after the war, in Plüderhausen, the master mechanic Wilhelm Bahmüller
founded a mechanics workshop for machines and systems among his first machines,
there was also a cylindrical grinding machine which he himself had overhauled. |
| 1962 | BAHMÜLLER
manufactures the precision cylindrical grinding machine RME 200 for FORTUNA, Stuttgart,
initially as a manufacturing contractor later it would also assume the
design part. |

development of the digital multiple process PLC SIEMENS 840 D ISO 9001 certification.
At the EMO in Hanover, in addition to the B 45-9 for combined internal/external
grinding, the new, modular MFZ internal grinding machine is presented:
1 tool wheel-head, 2 cross supports, hydrostatic guides, 2 high-frequency internal
grinding spindles. BAHMÜLLER concentrates exclusively on the developing
and manufacturing of high-precision production grinding machines and no longer
offers universal grinding machines. |

1999 | The new MFZ
internal grinding machine is presented at the EMO in Paris: 2 tool wheel-heads,
2 cross supports, 4 high-frequency internal grinding spindles, Automatic loading
and unloading system. |

2000 | Opening of Bahmueller
Technologies, Inc. a 100% subsidiary of Bahmueller Pluederhausen. |
| 2001 | Implementing
Key-account structure for better servicing our customer. Introducing the Intelligent
grinding wheel with close loop to the grinding machine, exchanging data's for
infeed, grinding temperature in order to achieve best possible grinding results. |
| 2002 | Being
a first time IMTS attendee introducing a B-24/9 combined grinding machine for
simultanues grinding. |

2003 | Bahmueller opens Asian
operations in Shanghai China. |
