Clamping in a
Chuck At the workpiece spindle head our precision angular ball bearing
guarantees concentricitiy accuracy of 0.3 µm Grinding non round profiles?
The addition of a CNC controlled C-axis can be the solution for grinding
non-cylindrical workpieces. The possibilities are highly diverse and
flexible. Challange our expertise for your manufacturing solutions!
Locating in a, V-block fixture No workpiece spindle
head, no tailstock A well-proven work holding fixture where the workpiece is located
on diamond (or carbide) inserts and driven against an axial deadstop by rollers
set at an angle. Loading / unloading workpieces into the V-block fixture
via high speed loading device. Clamping between centers In
our systems we use fixed and rotating centers. In collaboration with our
development partners, we design special technology systems for any situation.
If required, the workpiece will be driven by the use of radial force-free
membrane drivers designed to meet customers workpiece specifications. Multible
tailstock designs will allow high flexibility in the layout of the grinding concept.
Manually, motor driven or piezo technology are proven ways to adjust the tailstock
for taper compensation. Close-loop feedback for process-controlled adjustments
and data exchange between the XPRO and measuring systems or automation is our
standard. Is there a problem of deflection? Our piezo technology
compensates this automaticlly during the grinding process |
